An exploration on the themes of life, death, and the natural process of regeneration in a haunting, yet poetic way:
In a quiet Berlin forest, a young couple embarks on a peaceful walk, only to stumble upon a startling discovery—a decaying dead body hidden among the trees. Shot on 8mm film, the short captures the eerie beauty of the rotting process, as nature begins to reclaim the body.
Over time, the decomposing remains gradually enrich the surrounding soil, transforming the spot into a small oasis of life. Plants thrive, new growth emerges, the site becomes a symbol of the natural cycle of life and death.
The film juxtaposes human fragility with nature's resilience, turning decay into renewal, and highlighting how even in death, the body continues to serve the ecosystem.
